For generations, our family has been deeply rooted in Vedic and Agamic traditions. As a practising priest, I have witnessed the power of rituals when they are performed with the right knowledge, discipline, and devotion. However, in today’s fast-paced world, many families wish to follow these sacred practices but often struggle to find authentic guidance or trustworthy priests.

That is where Poorani Pooja steps in.

This initiative is led by Sri Kannan Sivachariyar, M.A., M.Phil., honoured with titles such as Jothida Siromani, Sivachariyar Semmal, and Aagama Vithagar, and serving as the Thalamai Archagar (Chief Priest) at Arulmigu Appar Swamy Temple, Mylapore, Chennai. With decades of experience and deep scriptural knowledge, his guidance forms the spiritual foundation of everything we do.

With the vision of preserving tradition while making it accessible, this platform was built to connect people with genuine, experienced priests and to ensure that every ritual is performed correctly, meaningfully, and with devotion.

Alongside his role in Poorani Pooja, he also has extensive experience in areas such as temple maintenance, kovil thirupani (restoration works), kumbabishekam planning, temple construction, balalayam procedures, and temple administration and advisory.
